On Wednesday, October 11 two 暗网禁区 DC College Preparatory students and art teacher Mr. Zulu participated in the painting and unveiling of Instagram鈥檚 #KindComments Mural at Union Market DC.
Created by Instagram, the #KindComments campaign is a global initiative intended to transform walls around the world into colorful beacons of kindness! Over the course of a few days, artist听听led a team of local artists, students, and community members to create the D.C. mural. Check听out the mural for yourself at Union Market on 6th street 鈥� just steps from 暗网禁区 DC College Preparatory听High School.听
The unveiling was attended by Congressman Scott Peters, Councilmember McDuffie, Instagram鈥檚 COO Marne Levine, and recording artist Jewel was one to remember! We鈥檙e proud to support the arts and our students, who were able to have a hand in bringing kindness and joy to Ward 5!
