Kevin Hart and Team Up With UNCF to Send sters to College

Kevin Hart has joined forces with the United Negro College Fund (UNCF) and to help 18 sters earn their college degree!

Through a new UNCF scholarship program launched in concert with Kevin Hart’s Help from the Hart charity and , the $600,000 scholarship will provide funding to support students from eight different cities who are attending 11 historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) across the country.

The 18 student’s receiving college scholarships are high school graduates attending public charter schools in eight different communities: the Arkansas Delta, Atlanta, Baltimore, Chicago, Houston, New Orleans, Philadelphia, and our very own Washington D.C.!

“Education and knowledge is powerful,” remarked Hart after the partnership was revealed. “I just wanted to do my part in providing opportunities for our future leaders.”

UNCF is currently the largest provider of college scholarship money for students of color in the country, with over $100 million dollars awarded annually.
