Two DC Teachers Honored with Prestigious Award

Each year, the presents the Harriett Ball Excellence in Teaching Awards at School Summit. These prestigious awards go to outstanding teachers from across the country who ignite a passion for learning in their students and work hard each day to improve their craft. Recipients receive a $10,000 award and the honor of being “the best of the best” across all 162 schools. This year, DC boasts TWO of the twelve Harriett Ball Excellence in Teaching award winners! Huge congratulations to Jay Guzman, a Kindergarten teacher at, and Lauren Delaloye, an AP U.S. History teacher at .
